What is Sourdough?

Sourdough is naturally leavened bread. It doesn’t require commercial yeast to rise but instead uses a “sourdough starter” which contains wild yeast and good bacteria. Sourdough bread has a lot of benefits that I recommend looking into if you are interested in the nutritional information.

How does ordering work?

Ordering opens at 12pm each Friday and stays open until Sunday evening or until sold out. Please be sure to add a note to your order if you order more than one type. You will be given pick up information at checkout. You can subscribe to the weekly menu text if you want notified of the menu and ordering opening. If you wish to guarantee a spot for the week, you can subscribe to a weekly order.

How do I store my bread?

I recommend storing it in the packaging you received it in for up to 5 days on the counter. If you want to save some for later, freezing is your best option. To thaw it just set it on the counter. I don’t recommend storing it in the fridge as that will make it go stale faster.

Can I buy sourdough starter from you?

Yes! I charge $5 for 50g of sourdough starter. Just ask :)

Where is Pickup?

The pickup address is sent to you with an order confirmation email but, it’s the red brick house. Come pickup your bread on our porch and hangout! :)
